Ethical sourcing

Our conflict-free and ethical policy

Glam Jewelry has a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. At Glam Jewelry and our factories, we only purchase rough diamonds through certified suppliers who enforce the standards established by the Kimberley Process. All of our diamonds are therefore certified as conflict free.

Diamonds are mined throughout the world, including major mines in Australia, Africa, Russia and Canada. The diamond industry provides livelihoods for millions of people around the globe and it is important that we work hard to ensure that these people have good working conditions and living wage.

Conflict free diamonds are diamonds that are mined in an area which are free from any kind of terrorism or terror-related areas. The diamond must not be mined in a way that hurt any individuals during the mining process.

Ethical diamonds are diamonds that have fair humanitarian mining practices when it comes to wages and conditions when sourcing for raw diamonds and refining them.

As we have our own diamond and jewelry factories in China and India, we control the entire process from buying the raw diamond, cutting it and creating the jewelry.

That is why we are certain that our

  • diamond jewelry are conflict-free and are ethically sourced and produced.

  • workers have good working conditions and salary
